My family and I live in Eureka MO. I work from my home and my clients tell me they enjoy the warm and relaxed atmosphere. Please call to schedule an appointment as my hours vary greatly from day to day. At my home, I offer both outdoor sessions in our beautifully landscaped yard or a studio session in my loft studio. A combination of the two is available for High School Graduates.

We all have busy lives....trying to fit as much work and fun into our days as possible. Capturing the spirit of that fun and the joyfulness you feel toward your family is so important, because tomorrow comes too quickly and the years fly by. I'm so glad I have such amazing pictures to reflect upon how my kids have changed over the years. Sometimes it can be difficult to get your own family to cooperate when you try to get their photograph, however, the right photographer can lighten things up and it can actually be a fun experience for you all.

It's such a pleasure to have beautiful portraiture to fill your home.... offering daily reminders of the joy our children bring us. Not only can a well done photograph be a "window to someone's soul", but also a "jolt to a parents heart". I know my own heart swells with love when I gaze on the past images of my children in which I captured their "real" smile, or caught them with that quiet, content look that says they are growing up too fast. Making time to capture your children's many stages of adorable is something you shouldn't put off too long.

I strive to be as flexible as possible while juggling my own family's schedule. I have weekday and weekend hours to make it convenient for you. Proofs are available quickly and are viewed in my office via a slideshow presentation. I aim to please my clients, so expect great customer service and quick turn-around.

During the initial consultation, which is usually by phone for convenience sake, we will discuss clothing choices and background options. For family portraits especially, it is important to plan your clothing choices in order to get the most pleasing photograph. Busy patterns or uncomplimentary color choices can be distracting. I suggest that pants be one color (ex. jeans or kaki's). Tops could be one or two colors (ex. girls in one color and boys in another). For large groups, each family unit could wear a different color top. If a family chooses to pick all one color top such as white, then please add some texture by picking different style shirts. An example of that would be; a shirt with buttons, a shirt with a small pinstripe or a layered shirt look, dresses for the little girls, or a textured sweater over a button up.

As I said above, studio and outdoor sittings are available. Besides my home, popular places that I use for outdoor portraits are Shaws Nature Reserve (Grey Summit), Laumeier Sculpture Park (Sunset Hills) and the Legends Golf Course (Eureka). However, feel free to offer suggestions of your favorite outdoor location such as your home or your own golf Club.

My pricing is available on my website. There are no complicated prepaid packages. You can order just the pictures you want with no high pressure sales-pitch. I'm looking forward to creating something special just for your family.
